Reviews on Baeyer-Villiger Catalyzed Oxidation Research Lei Ziqiang, Zhang Qinghua, Luo Jujie Abstract Baeyer-Villiger oxidation isafrequently
used synthetic method for conversion of carbonyl compounds into corresponding ester or
lactones. The research works of catalyzed Baeyer-Villiger oxidation in the latest ten
years have been reviewed in this article. Transition metal complexes catalysis system,
organic tin catalysis system as well as organic/inorganic compound catalysis system was
introduced respectively, the merits and shortbacks of a variety of catalytic oxidation
systems were also discussed in detail.
