Study on Crystallization Kinetics of Barium Sulfate in Wet-process Phosphoric Acid Jiang Lihong, Liu Zhonghua, Wang Yaming, Lin Qingyou Abstract The crystallization kinetics of barium sulfate in wet-process
phosphoric acid and the effects of Mg2+, Fe3+, Al3+ on
crystallization were investigated. The relationship between nucleation rate and growth
rate of barium sulfate in wet-process phosphoric acid was presented. Fe3+, Al3+
inhibit the crystal growth process, but Mg2+ promote it. The coexistence of
