A New Synthesis Method of 5-Arylidenehydantoin and the Crystal Structure

Abstract A series of 5-arylidenehydantoin were synthesized by the reaction of aromatic aldehydes and hydantoin at 120oC using ammonium acetate as catalyst in ethylene glycol. The structure of product was determined by the IR, 1H NMR. 5-(4-methoxy) phenylmethylenehydantoin was determined by the single crystal X-ray diffraction.

一种新的5-芳亚甲基海因合成方法及其结构研究

摘要 以芳醛、海因为原料,醋酸铵作催化剂,在乙二醇作溶剂120℃条件下合成了一系列5-芳亚甲基海因。产物的结构经红外、核磁共振表征,同时还对5-(4-甲氧基)亚苄基海因单晶进行了X射线衍射分析。
