Research and Development of Side Chain Liquid Crystal Polymer Li Ying, Wang Yuexin, Long Jingwei, Zhang Liucheng* Abstract The synthesis of side chain liquid crystal polymer was
reviewed. The properties of addition polymerization, condensation polymerization and graft
polymerization were discussed. The development and properties of new type side chain
liquid crystal polymer was mainly introduced, including SCLCP complex, Mesogen-Jacketed
Liquid Crystal Polymer, chiral SCLCP and ionic polymer. The applications of new type
