Micro-separation in Miniaturized Total Analysis System Xu Yi1,2, Zhang Xiaofeng1, Hai Xianlai1, Lan Yuwei1 Abstract The
importance and conception of micro-separation for miniaturized total analysis system (mTAS) were introduced
in this paper. In addition to simple presentation
of capillary electrophoresis separation on micro-fluidic chip, many other new
micro-separation methods, such as extraction separation, membrane separation,
chromatography, magnetic
separation and so on, were demonstrated and evaluated in detail about their application in
