Review on Resorcinarenes Synthesis Research Mo Guowei, Xie Yuesheng Abstract Being
synthesized from the condensation reaction of resorcinol and aldehydes, resorcinol-derived calixarenes are one kind of
important host molecules, and reveal potential applications in the research fields of
chemistry, biology, and materials. In this paper, the systhesis, functionalization, and
