Manufacturing of Optically Variable Pigment

Abstract Optically variable pigment technologies for markings and inks have increased in use as overt protection methods for document and product security. These technologies utilize optical reflective effects including interference technologies that create angular dependent color changes. Novel developments in different inorganic and organic pigments offer potentially new optical performance for both overt and covert security applications. These developments may lead to unique signature pigment formats that can verify origin and authenticity. This article summarized optically variable pigment’s manufacturing, application and development.

光干涉变色颜料及其制备技术

  光干涉变色颜料是一种用于商标、钞票和工农业产品包装的大众防伪材料。光变颜料新技术运用了界面光反射和折射技术,使得颜料产生了随角异色效应。随着生产技术的进步和工艺的改进,光干涉变色颜料的应用将更加广泛。本文较详细地介绍了这一新型防伪材料的产生、原理、制备和应用。
