Factors Analysis of Pd/TiO2 Catalyst Deactivation in the Process of the Methane Catalytic Combustion

Abstract In this paper, two kinds of TiO2 are used as supports of palladium catalysts. Results of XRD and BET indicate that the changing of the crystal structure and the loss of the surface area are the main reasons for the decrease of the catalytic activity. It is found that the existence of the rutile phase and the reaction gas accelerate the phase transformation from rutile to anatase in TiO2 prepared by combustion method. It is also revealed that TiO2 with a pure anatase structure has a high thermal stability.

甲烷催化燃烧过程中Pd/TiO2催化剂失活原因分析

摘要 制备了两种TiO2负载的Pd催化剂,分别考察了它们的甲烷催化燃烧反应性能,发现催化剂在反应条件下容易失活。BETXRD结果表明TiO2的晶相变化、比表面积的减少等可能是催化剂失活的主要原因。用燃烧法制得的TiO2中存在的金红石相和反应气氛等可促使其结构由锐钛矿向金红石型转变。而具有纯净锐钛矿晶型的TiO2具有较好的热稳定性,在反应条件下不发生相变。
