Synthesis of Nanometer-sized Ordered MCM-41 Silica in Reverse Microemulsion of Water in Oil Zhao Rui, Xu Shan, Zhang Xiaoming, Wang Xiaolai, Jishuan Suo* Abstract A novel method has been developed to synthesize a
long-range structured and nanometer-sized mesoporous molecular sieve in reverse
microemusion of water in oil. The sizes of the nano-MCM-41 mesoporous silica molecule
sieves can be controlled within 20~40nm and no agglomerations occurred even it was
calcinated in air at 823K for 4~6h.
