Recent Advances in the Transition-Metal-Catalyzed Benzannulation of Unsaturated Hydrocarbons Li Liyang, Xia Haiping*, Ding Matai Abstract Progress in the transition-metal-catalyzed benzannulation of
acetylenes and their derivatives were reviewed through discussing the reaction examples
with the methods of [2+2+2] cyclotrimerization and [4+2] cyclodimerization respectively.
The advances of the methods applied to the field of polymers are also introduced. All
things discussed in the review show the wide application foreground of
