The Development of the Synthesis of 1,5-Naphthalene Diisocyanate

Abstract This paper described the excellent properties of elastomers synthesized from 1,5-naphthalene diisocyanate and the prospects of its applications. The focus is laid on the discussion of the development of the non-phosgene methods by which 1,5-naphthalene diisocyanate was synthesized and the problems existed.
