The Study on the Radioiodination of Nanometer-sized TiO2 Particles

Abstract In this paper nanometer-sized TiO2 particles were labeled radioactively with 125I using Iodogen method. The effects of reaction time, temperature, concentration of TiO2 colloid, amount of Iodogen and pH value on the labeling yield were studied. Under the optimum conditions, the labeling yield of 125I-TiO2(4~6nm) was 92% and the specific volume radioactivity was 92.5MBq/mL. The result of the labeled product stability showed that the radiochemical purity remained 92% after 144 hours at room temperature (25°C). The iodine labeled product showed a few effect on the photocatalytic activity of TiO2. The labeled product may be used in the future animal and cell experiments.

放射性碘标记二氧化钛纳米微粒

摘要 Iodogen氧化法对TiO2纳米微粒进行碘-125标记,研究了标记反应时间、温度、TiO2浓度、Iodogen涂管量和pH等对标记率的影响以及标记物的稳定性。在最佳条件下制备的标记物的粒径为4-6nm,其标记率为92%,放射性浓度为92.5MBq/mL。标记物在室温(25°C)放置144h放化纯度不变。实验证明碘标记不影响TiO2的光催化活性,能满足对TiO2纳米微粒的细胞和动物实验研究的要求。
