Thermal Analysis on De-activation of Aged Three Way Catalysts

Abstract In present paper, FTA was applied to analyze thermal de-activation of Pd-M1M2Ox/g-Al2O3 three way catalysts (TWC). A detailed fault tree has been gotten accordingly. The fault tree was calculated by Boer Algebra, and fourteen parameters of process events were found out to be the reasons for de-activation. The structure importance of these events was discussed. At the end, the effects of preparation parameter on thermal durability of TWC were analyzed. It is shown that FTA can be used to analyze the crucial factors to cause the de-activation of the aged TWC.

新型车用三效催化剂热失活原因的分析

摘要 应用故障树分析(FTA)原理,对钯复合金属氧化物型三效催化剂的热失活原因进行了严密的逻辑分析,建立了相应的故障树。应用布尔代数原理计算得到导致催化剂热失活的14个制备工艺方面的影响因素,及相应的最小割集和结构重要度。结合实测结果详尽讨论了涂覆、焙烧、老化工艺及助剂的选择、配比和负载量等基本事件对催化剂热失活的影响程度。结果表明应用FTA法能有效地分析导致催化剂热失活的原因。
