The Potential Application of Dendrimers in Medicine

Abstract Dendrimers are a new class of nanoscopic macromolecules which have been synthesized in recent years. There is an increasing interest in dendrimers worldwide because they possess a well defined globular structure and display monodispersity. In this review, application of dendrimers in medicine is presented in detail and potential clinical significance is discussed.
