| Tubingensins A and B are indole diterpenoid alkaloids isolated from the fungus Aspergillus tubingensis. These natural products possess intricate polycyclic structures and demonstrate well-defined insecticidal, antiviral, and antitumor activities. Due to their synthetically challenging chemical architectures and diverse pharmacological profiles, Tubingensins A and B have emerged as important targets in the field of organic total synthesis. This review summarizes the current progress on the total synthesis of Tubingensins A and B. |
