      超高分子量聚乙烯是一类重要的高性能聚烯烃材料,具有低密度、无毒、高抗冲击性、卓越的耐磨性和生物相容性,因而在航空航天、国防军工和生物医疗等领域得到广泛的应用。然而,超高分子量聚乙烯的制备具有挑战性,关键在于催化剂体系不仅要具有高活性,还要能够有效抑制链转移和β-H消除等副反应,从而促进连续的链增长和高分子量的形成。近年来,使用前过渡金属催化剂在制备超高分子量聚乙烯方面取得了显著的进展。本文总结了近十年来前过渡金属催化剂制备超高分子量聚乙烯的研究进展,分析了催化剂的配体空间位阻、电子效应及多核协同效应等的影响,阐述了他们在制备超高分子量聚乙烯中起到的作用。
英文摘要:
      Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) is an important high-performance polyolefin material with low density, non-toxicity, high impact resistance, excellent wear resistance, and good biocompatibility, and is therefore widely used in aerospace, national defense, and biomedical fields. However, the synthesis of UHMWPE presents considerable challenges, as it requires catalytic systems that not only possess high activity but also effectively suppress side reactions such as chain transfer and β?H elimination, thereby facilitating continuous chain growth and high molecular weight formation. In recent years, significant progress has been achieved in the preparation of UHMWPE using early transition metal catalysts. This review summarizes the advances over the past decade in the development of early transition metal catalysts for UHMWPE synthesis, emphasizing the influence of ligand steric and electronic effects as well as multinuclear cooperativity.
