| 热活化延迟荧光(thermally activated delayed fluorescence, TADF)主体材料是一类在有机发光二极管(OLED)中用于承载发光客体(TADF发光体)的关键材料,其主要作用是优化激子利用率和能量传递效率,同时平衡器件中的载流子传输。将TADF这一前沿研究热点融入本科有机化学实验教学中,为功能材料专业本科生开设前沿有机化学实验:双极性TADF主体材料DIC-TRZ的合成、表征与光电性能研究。该实验内容包括通过金属催化的碳-氮键偶联反应、结构表征以及利用紫外-可见分光光度计、荧光光谱仪和密度泛函理论(Density Functional Theory, DFT)计算对其光物理性质进行研究。旨在将前沿科学研究融入功能材料专业有机化学实验教学,通过本实验,使学生了解OLED中TADF材料这一科学研究前沿领域,激发学生对前沿科学研究的兴趣,拓宽学生的科学研究视野,培养学生的科研探究能力。 |

| Thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) host materials are key components used in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) to support emissive TADF dopants. Their primary roles are to optimize exciton utilization and energy-transfer efficiency while balancing charge-carrier transport within the device. Integrating this cutting-edge research topic into the undergraduate organic-chemistry laboratory, we have designed an advanced experiment for functional-materials majors: Synthesis, characterization, and optoelectronic performance of the TADF host material DIC-TRZ. The experiment encompasses a metal-catalyzed carbon–nitrogen coupling reaction, full structural characterization, and photophysical investigations employing UV–visible spectrophotometry, fluorescence spectroscopy and DFT calculation. By embedding such state-of-the-art research into the curriculum, this laboratory exercise familiarizes students with the forefront of OLED science, stimulates their interest in emerging research areas, broadens their scientific horizons, and cultivates their capacity for inquiry-driven investigation. |
